First week of April work on the farm

Well, finally finished pruning blackberries yesterday. Sure feels good to have all 10 rows done. Now to get fertilizer worked into the groung around the roots of each one. And then add wood chips to each row. Also finished up the black raspberries.
planted potatoes  earlier this week. Calvin put drip lines on them yesterday as it is dry right now and they probably should have some moisture near the surface tho there is some way down.
Started more seedings this year, that is more vegetables and herbs and perennials than last year and so am now out of room in the greenhouse. This requires some creative arranging trying to get more in. Am learing little bitty seedlings need to be kept on the almost dry side and they do better. Seem to not be killing quite so many this year. Learning a bit better how to grow them each year.
Today have basil to transplant. Roses to prune, hydrangeas to trim, lettuce to cut, wash & package for market tomorrow. Plants to water and van to load for market tomorrow.
